What did we do?
Blogs.nokia.com offers a speedy look at what’s new with Nokia. Working with the owners of the forums and sites that make up Nokia’s impressive blog and social media roll, we accomplished the tricky technical bit of analysing, aggregating and displaying all the different feeds onto one page. Forget feeds for a moment and think of fitting pegs of various shapes and sizes into the same round hole. Neat.
The page layout is clean, consistent, all the blogs can coexist, but each one is easily identifiable. And as a further aid to aggregation, visitors can personalise the page, feed Nokia reads directly to their own news reader, opening up a rich source of inbound links for blogs.nokia.com.
Nokia news is now more accessible, readable, and clickable. It’s easier for visitors to find Nokia blogs and for more feeds to be added in future. And now that Nokia can easily draw readers’ attention to other sites there’s a healthy cross-pollination of followers, with page impressions up by 300% on some posts.
